Kiani's Original Guava Chicken

A hidden little gem I found the way to North shore. The chicken was freshly bbq'd and served to order. The owner is very friendly, funny and welcoming. Tried the original guava chicken and kalbo beef with mac salad. Portions are huge and served in a take container. Will definitely stop by on my next visit.

OMG, shut my mouth! This is THE BEST chicken on the island! They also have awesome kalbi beef, shrimp scampi, and other items. You can choose a combo plate with two meat choices, or go with a single choice. They have a “regular” serving portion and a “large” portion. I can tell you, the regular portion comes with PLENTY of food! Each plate is served in a to go container and includes macaroni salad and rice - the owner is friggin friendly and funny as hell. Not a huge place, but HUGE servings of food. Several sauces available, but try the guava sauce - you won’t be disappointed! Drinks are water, canned soda, and some canned ice tea choices.

Everything every 5 star rating reviewer mentioned is true. We came here for the first time and experienced excellent customer service and great tasting food! The man who took our order, whom I learned was named Adrian, has the spirit of what pure aloha truly feels like here in Hawaii. He was so friendly and welcoming, I literally forgot we were there to order and eat because I felt like I was at home... and that type of customer service is something RARE that you'll find in restaurants nowadays. My husband and I both got the large "Mixed Plates" which was priced at 14 and came with one scoop of mac salad one scoop of rice and a very generous portion of guava chicken (REALLY DELICIOUS!) and gigantic kalbi ribs that are full of meat and flavor! They had this sauce which was white and creamy that went so well with the chicken and meat... everything was so good... and I know you wont be disappointed. My husband and I are definitely coming back because this is well rounded place... from the awesome customer service, pricing and food? It's worth the drive wherever you are. This place is CASH ONLY for those like myself who only carry around card... and we were lucky to score parking out in front because it's on a busy street in Wahiawa. There's a good amount of seating indoors and a good selection of drinks to choose from. Mahalo for the Aloha and food Kianis! Definitely recommending!

Amazing food and awesome customer service. Large portions for a great price, but to be honest I would pay whatever they wanted for the Ultimate! It's soo good!

This place has the best and most affordable food we've had our entire time here. It was so good, we went twice! I'll definitely come back to Oahu for this! The owner has so much energy and is just such an amazing soul!

This place is amazing. Some of the best ribs and chicken I've ever had. The macaroni and rice sides were also excellent. The staff are very animated and friendly. All the food is excellent and and fair priced. Don't forget to try the sauces and bring cash!

Usually I like to photograph the food I’m going to review before I eat it, but with the mahi/guava chicken plate I only had time to snap a quick phone picture before I smashed it out. That’s how bomb it smelled. Taste was on point too. Don’t sleep on this absolute gem.

On our way up to North Shore, had to stop by Wahiawa for some Kiani’s Original Guava Chicken! Highly, highly recommended if you’re in the area. Popular mixed plates include Kalbi and Chicken. Don’t sleep Crusted Mahi Mahi too! Portions are generous like the hospitality!
